Remembering
The artists comments on the flat painted shapes that mark the former presence of a graffiti tag, or signature, an element of the city landscape that is as ubiquitous as unnoticed. The interventions can work as whispered homages to the taggers defeat, or otherwise signal the ultimately persistent presence of the tag. Indeed, it is the original act of the tagger which decides the placement and form of the final shape.

La artista propone un comentario acerca de las manchas de pintura lisa que marcan la anterior presencia de una firma de graffiti, un omnipresente elemento del paisaje urbano que suele pasar inadvertido. Las intervenciones pueden funcionar como homenajes susurrados en honor a la derrota del autor de la firma, o por el contrario señalar la presencia, persistente en última instancia, de ésta. Efectivamente, es el acto original del autor de la firma el que decide la ubicación y forma de la mancha final.
